I am looking for a music website that will let you download albums like itunes that doesn’t cost as much.

    Leo,
Check out “Bearshare” as well. You can google it, and it will go right to it. The 1 time subscription fee covers everything and is well worth it. You can do it for free as well, but the freeware is riddled with ads and other things that make you tear out your hair (like limewire’s free stuff as well.).
With anything where you are downloading stuff, even if it is songs, scan anything you get - no matter where from - before you so much as touch it. If you don’t, you will eventually get a virus that will really cause trouble. Worse - you may get a ‘key-logger’.
Also - iTunes is as much software as it is a website. Go to http://www.download.com and search for MediaMonkey. It’s software that does the same thing as iTunes without some of the problems that iTunes has. It’s free, with no strings attached.
Also - if you do use iTunes - when you install it, at some point during the process, a completely harmless little dialogue box will ask you if you wish to reformat your files to the iTunes format. DON’T DO THIS!!! It will change all of your mp3 files to something else, and from that point on, they will be wedded to iTunes and only iTunes until you re-burn the cd or rebuy the mp3 or whatever. Your ipod will work fine, iTunes will work fine, and the iTunes music library will work fine, and you will have lost nothing if you choose not to reformat.
Btw - one other comment - you can load a bunch of photos in as well. I made the mistake of letting it resize them for ipod library usage. The amount of space that a bunch of pics takes up versus a bunch of slightly bigger pics, compared to the space in a 30 gb or 60 or 80 gb drive is just nothing.
Also - for converting movies in .avi and other formats to usage and resizing (good thing for movies) them for your ipod, go to http://www.download.com, and do a search on a program called JODIX. It’s great, it works, no strings attached, and it’s free (no malware of any kind).
    - Kevin
