buy music Q&A

My entire music collection is in MP3 format. I bought a few CD’s on iTunes, and removed the DRM. I listen to a lot of trance music, and I want to be able to buy songs in Ogg Vorbis format.
I know that because MP3 is a lossy format, and Vorbis is a lossy format, going MP3 > Ogg or MP3 > FLAC/Wav > Ogg is going to end up sounding pretty crap, right?
Is there a site like this, or will I have to rip physical CDs to Ogg format?

I cant find a site to buy and download music for my MP3 player.
Iv tryed Walmart, amazon, and yahoo.
I wont go to any apple site to Buy Music.
I’m looking for a site that will sell single songs for .99 or less and not require a month to month payment.
so far every site Iv been to doesnt have the songs im looking for.
I guess its because there older songs, but how can you not have a single song from AC/DC on your site and claim to sell music!?

i think its stupid how itunes raised its price on songs. and i was wondering if there was another site that was better. i dont like limewire or anything cause it causes virus and its illegal. thanx!

I looked at Rhapsody,iTunes,and a few others.The once a month billing subscription sounds better than purchasing each song…but once you don’t pay for that month does your downloaded songs end?

I have a Sansa mp3 player, and I want to download songs to my computer for the player and to burn on cds.
