What Kind Of Relaxing Music Should I Take Into Hospital For The Labour?

I am thinking of buying a specific birthing music cd but am not sure if this is a waste of money. Should I just create a playlist on my ipod or should I Buy Music that does not have words in it? I am not sure what would be the most relaxing option. Has anyone tried a hypnotherapy cd?

My best friend played sting and Eric Clapton the whole time. And she had an epidural as well!

Whatever music makes you happy and calm. It doesn’t have to be classical or mood setting type music. My sister loved 80’s rock and has always been obseesed with it so she took 3 cds she burned off the internet of all the music that conjured up good memories for her. It really seemed to help her put her focus elswhere when it got down to the end stage of labor. Good luck.

I think that music that you already enjoy to listen to that relaxes you would be the best.
